Sterkfontein Caves: These famous limestone caves are renowned for their rich fossil deposits, including some of the most significant archaeological discoveries related to human evolution, such as the remains of “Little Foot” and “Mrs. Ples.” Guided tours offer visitors a glimpse into the underground chambers, showcasing stunning rock formations and the history of human ancestors.

Maropeng: This is the official visitor center for the Cradle of Humankind and provides an interactive and educational experience focused on the origins of humanity. ITINERARY:

• Pick-Up: Guests will be picked up at either 8:30 AM or 12:30 PM from any specified address.
• Travel to the Cradle of Humankind: Enjoy a scenic drive for approximately 1 hour to the Cradle of Humankind.
• Sterkfontein Caves Tour: Upon arrival, guests will embark on a 1-2 hour guided tour of the Sterkfontein Caves led by an experienced guide.
• During this tour, guests will learn about the fascinating fossils discovered in the caves, the various rock types, and the rich geological and historical significance of the caves.
• Travel to Maropeng Centre: After the cave tour, we will drive for about 15 minutes to the Maropeng Centre.
• Maropeng Museum Tour: Guests will participate in a 1-hour guided tour of the Maropeng Museum.
• Highlights of the tour include viewing impressive fossil displays.
• Insight into the history of the fossils found at the Cradle of Humankind.
• Return Journey: After the museum tour, guests will be driven back to their original pickup location.
