Lesedi Cultural Village is a tourist village that celebrates the cultural traditions of several different cultures of South Africa. It reproduces traditional dwellings and offers exhibitions of dances and other cultural activities. It is situated near Johannesburg, within the Cradle of Humankind, in Gauteng, South Africa. On arrival, guests are welcomed in a traditional African way. Lesedi Cultural Village is a living South African village where families from five major cultures (Zulu, Xhosa, Pedi, Basotho, and Ndebele) actually live. When you visit, you join a guided tour through their different homesteads, see how people live day-to-day, and then watch a big, energetic dance show with drumming and singing. You can also enjoy a big buffet of local food.
